Our Appeal is for the charity dedicated to raising much needed funds for The Hospital for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry in Kolkata Joka along with a Home for the Mentally Challenged, where sincere Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Psychiatrists will diagnose and treat neurological diseases with their expertise and provide medical assistance, love and care for those born with Brain disorders having mental and behavioural manifestations

We never know when and how destiny strikes on whom. A human brain is an awesomely intricate and yet a very delicate organ which governs and decides who we are. It can be adversely affected by many disease processes. May be stroke (clot, bleeding or a blocked artery) cancer (brain tumour), epilepsy, infections (meningitis, encephalitis, tuberculosis) or degenerative (Parkinson disease and dementias like Alzheimer), to name only a few. Ultimately brain diseases decline the functional capabilities of a previously mentally and physically fit man or a woman, sometimes drastically within seconds and sometimes gradually.

The near and the dear ones of the affected people can do little but just helplessly watch the devastation rob them of their memories and functional abilities. Thereafter the emotional heartbreak and financial burden on family members can be disastrous. Demanding tons of compassion and understanding dislocates the normal family life.

Families, friends and sufferers are often in despair about what to do and where to turn. It is here where we want to stand beside you. We will not only build a place to treat these diseases but also do in depth research with the latest technology and equipment and provide clinical services with humanistic approach, love and care.

Kolkata needs it, so please come forward, participate and donate generously to build your own Brain & Mind Research Institute in Joka. You will build your own Neuro Hospital and Research Center with every valuable donation you make.
